A beautiful yet underrated state - in the Eastern part of India - part of once celebrated and illustrious kingdom of Kalinga - and the land of the great king Ashoka! Odhisa/ Orissa has an age old tradition of saree and textiles weaving - and boasts of many mesmerizing handlooms, including rich Bomkais, rare Passapalli and the much loved Sambalpuri - understated yet stunning in its simplistic charm and meticulous design detail.
